TODDLER PROGRAM

Children will learn Language development, Gross motor development, Fine motor development, Social and emotional development, Cognition, and learning.

MONTESSORI DIFFERENCE

Montessori programs stand out from other early schooling approaches primarily due to their child-centered philosophy and unique learning environment.
Child's natural curiosity

Montessori education places a strong emphasis on the child's natural curiosity and ability to learn independently. Unlike traditional early schooling methods that often rely on teacher-led instruction and standardized curricula, Montessori classrooms encourage children to explore, discover, and learn at their own pace. This child-centered approach nurtures a sense of autonomy and self-motivation, fostering a lifelong love for learning.

Critical thinking

Montessori learning environment is carefully designed to promote hands-on, experiential learning. Specialized Montessori materials are used to engage children in meaningful activities that develop their cognitive, sensory, and motor skills. These materials are self-correcting, allowing children to learn through trial and error while developing critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Additionally, the multi-age classrooms in Montessori settings create a collaborative atmosphere where children learn from one another, build social skills, and develop empathy and respect for others.

MONTESSORI PROGRAM

3 years - 6 years

At ages 3-6, your child has become an intrepid explorer of their environment in their effort to learn everything they can about the world. In the Montessori program, students engage in an enormous variety of activities designed to help them continue their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. From cooking to cleaning to caring for self and others, your child's capacity for independence will grow exponentially. There is a strong emphasis on grace and courtesy.

  • Working individually -- While students at this age may like to work next to their friends, they are developmentally driven to work independently, to allow them to develop concentration, focus, and a sense of order
  • Calming, uncluttered environment -- Classes use muted colors and limited decorations.
  • Freedom with clear limits -- students are allowed to move freely about the room with purpose and to engage in activities that support movement.
  • An emphasis on self-discipline -- students are taught the rules, rituals, and conventions of the classroom and how to manage themselves within this environment.
